Le FAQ di Camperiamo

Our campers are all driven with a B license.

You must be at least 21 years old and have held a B license for at least 3 years.

Wherever there is a road wide enough.

No, with the RV you can park in any parking lot, toilet and gray water drains however must be flushed into the appropriate spaces, including municipal ones. Stopping in the equipped areas facilitates the loading and unloading of water, toilet and ensures connection to the power grid for the operation of all services.

A stove that runs on gas is installed in the airframe to heat the room and domestic water. While the climate powered only by 220V allows cooling and heating using the mains. Therefore, it is not possible to use the climate in “free” parking.

The refrigerator in RVs is called “trivalent” and means that it can run on 220V when plugged in, on gas during “free” stops or during truck stops for example, or on 12V with the engine running while traveling. It automatically changes the power source according to what is available.

By using our optional kits, it is possible to leave in a camper carrying only the suitcase with clothes and toiletries. We can provide bed and bath linens for hire, a kitchen kit with pots, pans, cutlery, plates and glasses, bicycles…. Our campers always have satellite TV, folding chairs and tables, and everything you need to make your experience easier. In this way the camper is also accessible for those who usually prefer a hotel, but want to try something different.

Of course! RVs are approved for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 people and have seat belts even in the “back seats” as required by the Highway Code. Just place and fasten the car seat correctly in the case of children under 36kg. Motorhomes, however, for the time being do not have an isofix system, so car seats must be secured with the classic 3-point seat belt.

In our motorhomes it is possible to travel with small animals. In case they commit damage to the vehicle will be withheld from the security deposit (it would be advisable for animals to be insured with “head of the family” insurance). In any case, as after each use, the campers upon return are cleaned and sanitized with ozone, so that unpleasant odors are also removed.

The vehicle insurance is comprehensive and includes roadside assistance. However, there are no refunds for any passenger returns by other means.

The vehicle has kasko coverage with 10% overdraft and minimum 1000€. So up to this amount covers the tenant of the rental contract (they will be deducted from the security deposit), beyond this amount the insurance intervenes.

Any damage caused to the interior of the camper or to the equipment given must be paid for by the tenant of the rental agreement. The amount will be deducted from the security deposit, and should it be insufficient to cover the damage, the tenant will be required to pay the amount needed for repair.

As when driving your own car, it is necessary to pay attention to the condition of the vehicle based on the miles driven. So if necessary the engine oil should be checked and possibly topped up with high quality oil, tire pressure, coolant level.

The camper leaves clean and with a full tank of diesel fuel, and must return clean with a full tank of diesel fuel. “Clean” does not mean dusted or just vacuumed, but cleaned the surfaces, shelves, cabinets and drawers with suitable surface products, cleaned the bathroom, shower and toilet, emptied the white and gray water tanks, emptied and cleaned the toilet tank. Externally clean in the sense that it must be in good condition, not muddy or soiled by rain, subject to adverse conditions when the camper is returned.

There are penalties based on the condition of return of the vehicle that can be deducted from the security deposit.

When the vehicle is returned, a quick check is performed together with the client, but some detailed things are checked more calmly in the following hours. As soon as our staff has performed all checks and tested utilities and services the deposit is returned. In any case no later than 20 days.

Reservation can be cancelled with 100% refund within 30 days of vehicle departure, between 30 and 10 days before departure with 50% refund. Beyond 10 days the total rental will be withheld.
